Raan Parton oversees all branding and creative strategy for Apolis, a socially motivated menswear label he co-founded in 2008 with his brother Shea. He also takes care of product development with regard to design, fabric sourcing, and fit within the brand. Apolis now focuses on its robust global direct to consumer business and 1500 wholesale accounts globally. Raan joined CFDA as a member in 2014 and was named “10 of Tomorrow” by WWD in 2017.
He and his wife Lindsay created Alchemy Works, their eclectic home and lifestyle retail concept in 2013 which now has 2 locations and has done popups in Tokyo, New York and consulted for a hotel project in San Diego. He has also done design and branding work for other consumer brands, including Nike, HTC and Warby Parker.
Lindsay Parton has a background in personal finance, working at both UBS and Citigroup as a financial advisor. She has also been an accomplished wardrobe stylist for many years for editorial and television in Los Angeles. In 2013, she and her husband Raan founded Alchemy Works, a globally inspired retail/gallery/events space in the Arts District of LA with another location added in Newport Beach, CA. Her role within the stores is daily management of the team, visual merchandizing, buying and HR. She and Raan love to source emerging brands from their travels worldwide to bring back to the stores. Lindsay and Raan also co- founded Parachute Market an independent design fair focused on interiors and CNTRLgroup - a sales and marketing agency working to launch brands and to gain sales and PR momentum in the US, including apothecary, watches, shoes and home goods.
Paolo Carini has a background in real estate. After a 10+ years career as corporate lawyer between Milan, London and Paris he joined Est4te Four Capital (a commercial real estate developer mainly focused on office spaces for the creative industry – fashion, industrial design and contemporary art).
He currently manages Est4te Four investments in the West Coast of the United States. As a partner in Est4te Four he manages the real estate growth of Spring Place (a members-only collaborative workspace and social club created by Est4te Four, where fashion, art, entertainment and design come together to work, host, relax and create) with a particular focus on Los Angeles and Milan.
